Nauvoo Temple

The Nauvoo Temple is a stunning architectural landmark and a symbol of the city's rich spiritual history. Originally built in the 1840s by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the temple was reconstructed in 2002, replicating its original grandeur. Visitors can admire the beautiful exterior, explore the visitor center, and learn about its significance in LDS history. Although the temple itself is only open to church members, everyone can enjoy the serene surroundings and breathtaking views of the Mississippi River.
